For games and such, launchers should just adopt Steam's solution. Maybe just tinker a little bit with anticheat to make it compatible, but literally just do like Steam and release a Flatpak that runs games with Proton

i don't care what anyone says, i would buy one of these immediately, i have a bunch of custom steam input layouts for my deck controls and it would be nice to have them on desktop/docked deck

also the trackpads are useful you just need some creativity (mouse, scroll wheel, radial menus, etc.)
