The building custodians finally decided to switch the breakroom TV stations to something else other than Fox News. Bloomberg isn't really the best "better" option but at this point I'm just glad I don't have to see the orange man's face every time I get coffee for another 9 thankless hrs in hell.

It all feels like an apt metaphor of what's happening around the world, but there's too much blood in my caffeine system for me to think deeply into it.
And rn I'm drinking coffee out of the lesser liked mug, one with a collage of dollar bills on it.
Life truly finds ways to point and laugh.
After the initial shock was the feeling of defeat and dismay (I'm just realising it was my favourite mug) and the immediate action of getting the whisk broom and sorting the mess.
Few moments ago my seemingly commonplace, nondescript mug with a pride flag print slipped my hands and shattered into pieces and I honestly thought I'd be more... affected by it.
