At the request of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Ireland and Norway, the UN Human Rights Council will gather on Friday to discuss the extreme violence in and around #Sudan's El Fasher.

Responsible use of AI in the military domain, upholding human rights and international law, is a shared responsibility. Good news that the #UNGA passed the resolution by South Korea and the Netherlands to kick off dialogue between nations, a crucial step for international peace and security.

Together with the United Kingdom, we are ramping up Ukraine’s resilience against Russian cyber threats.

Support for Ukraine and strong pressure on Russia are crucial. At the same time, we must stay focused on the pursuit of justice. In #Kyiv, I announced that the Netherlands will host the initial set-up of the Special Tribunal on Russia's crime of aggression against Ukraine. 1/2

Cautiously optimistic that Hamas appears willing to release the hostages and engage in direct negotiations on President Trump’s peace plan. This plan must succeed to end the catastrophic situation in Gaza and to achieve a lasting solution. The Netherlands remains committed to this.
