She looked healthy, but dirty like she hadn't been able to bathe, but as soon as she could see, she shot off like a lightning bolt and looked to be just fine.
My heart was pounding so hard. I hope she is ok.

I wasn't sure what else to do, so I held her neck in place to try and keep it safe and carefully twisted it off.
Once the can was off I got a quick look at her.

I got her out from under the car, held her like a football, took her to the side of the road. She didn't fight me at all, and was pretty dirty, so I was worried she had been in that state for a while. The can was really stuck, when I pulled on it, she cried.

I stopped hard, threw on the hazard lights, jumped out and stopped traffic.
She hid under my car and I hurried as fast as I could to catch her before she ran out into traffic. The car beside me kept traffic from going around and cheered me on once they saw what I was doing.

I was pretty far from home, on a random urge to go to Daiso. I was in a part of town I had not been to before because I clicked on the wrong option in maps. A cat walked out in front of my car with a can stuck on her head.
