After a federal court blocked Trump from deploying Oregon’s own National Guard, he responded by sending 300 federalized California Guard members to Oregon early Sunday, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom.

I think everyone should. The verified license was supposed to prove citizen ship but it’s not enough. I don’t think many people are aware of the card. Supposedly, it can be used to enter Canada, Mexico and some Caribbean countries. I always bring my book passport when traveling abroad.

Since 2016 I’ve had a passport card in addition to the book. It’s the same size as a drivers license. I carry it in my wallet always. It’s limited, and can’t be used for international air travel. I’m a middle aged white women, but I still feel better that I can prove I’m an American citizen. Sad.
