Triangle ReStores recently hit a huge milestone - raising more than $1 million for affordable housing through donations at the register since the launch of the ReStore Round-Up Program in 2019!

Volunteers will support new home construction for orphans and other vulnerable populations. Participants will spend time on the build site while also engaging in cultural exchange and learning alongside local partners.

The best gift this holiday season could be a trip for next summer! Orange Habitat will travel to Malawi for the first time as part of Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program next summer. The trip will take place June 19–28, 2026, in Lilongwe, Malawi.

50+ employees from North Carolina Housing Finance Agency joined us earlier this month for a volunteer shift at Weavers Grove, many seeing firsthand the homes & community they help make possible. Volunteers spent the day raising walls & installing a firewall.

Early voting has begun! Orange County Affordable Housing Coalition, an association of housing organizations in which we are part of, has developed a voter guide to inform voters on how candidates running for office in Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Hillsborough stand on housing.
