Solo gamedev, I make stuff sometimes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You can play my games here: https://erytau.itch.io Building puzzle-adventure about a ghost who can rewind time! #godot - #pixelart - #gamedev - #linux
Haha, thank you! I'm glad it landed

19.02.2026 14:20 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I think this came out nicely. But what’s even cooler - this massive thing exists in real life! It’s "Kalyazin Radio Astronomy Observatory", and the photos are awesome (taken from google images)

Yeah that's unfortunate, and the development seems halted. But still, I'm using it on Linux via Proton (the reason for the FPS counter in my screenshot :D ) - it works well, and it's the best tool for pixel fonts that I could find
19.02.2026 12:30 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I made my font with PixelForge. Simple and effective, somewhat similar to pentacom bitfontmaker but more feature-rich

I made a map of 3.4 million Bluesky users - see if you can find yourself!

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail
I suppose crosses can be mistaken for daggers and vice versa. And used as daggers!

25.01.2026 13:45 — 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Not Godot-specific, but I appreciate when games give you the settings screen right away in the main menu, before any intros, cutscenes, etc. Games that force you to play some kind of intro/tutorial BEFORE giving you the settings are the worst offenders here
24.01.2026 07:26 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0That would be awesome indeed. Playing such a game would be almost as hard as properly implementing it :D Thank you!
23.01.2026 21:27 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Thanks! Tunic and Death's Door are both great inspirations for me. Loved those games. My combat is much much simpler, though, as I focus more on puzzles, secrets, and exploration

Godot, being self-sufficient single binary, should work on any distro. I made all my games on Debian/Ubuntu (various versions over the years), exported them from Linux to Windows, Mac, Android, Web, and was lucky to not have any issues
(I'm using GDScript Godot, so cant comment about C# version)
Haven't posted in a while, real life got in the way, but working hard again. Testing a bunch of colored lights for a new area
Also, some fun with shadows

One of many Itch's quirks, IMO the weirdest one. Wish they could at least give the devs an _option_ to make the reviews public, on a per-project basis.
