Definitely didn’t say they’re the worst—just disappointed. I could have literally had a seizure due to this oversight. I understand concerts can and usually do have flashing lights, but they have taken the precaution before so not having it while the concert going was incredibly inconsiderate

The problem is in particular with the flashing patterns they used was that they were so fast and used red/white, which are some of the worst colors for triggering photic epilepsy

For sure, I know that it’s an expected thing for concerts, but my issue is that it was an afterthought that they only pinned in the chat after viewers pointed it out. I don’t think I would have such an issue with it if they didn’t already have the assets for it/didn’t use it for the runs.

Just because it’s a concert doesn’t mean that you can’t take precautions to make this event as inclusive as you claim to make the speedruns. I would hope that as a speedrunner you would have a shred of empathy for your viewers, but your curt response shows otherwise.

The fact that it was just a pinned comment after people in the chat pointed it out shows that we were just an afterthought, and that really sucks tbh.

Hey so yes it’s a concert, but for an event that is supposedly “inclusive” and literally has the graphics already made for runs to warn those with epilepsy that there are flashing lights, I don’t find that as an excuse.

Good now apologize for not having a flashing lights warning for the concert and only making a pinned comment on the stream :)
