it's about the principle of it, if the game will sell its own soul why should I invest my soul into it, and it highlights so many of the other flaws present in all the other systems, osrs everything you do matters, rs3 nothing you do matters
rs3 lost itself up its own ass with share holders and executives making creative decisions, this is the creative back in control of a passion project
haha I made a whole series on rs3, but my main issues with rs3 are completely solved here, the grinds in rs3 are undermined by cheap systems which make it feel shit to grind, you need 8 different lit candles and sucked juices to get better xp and then you just end up buying the xp anyway

its just really peaceful and satisfying, and everyones so nice and chill, it feels like playing osrs in 2008, clueless idiots figuring out shit together
yeah the controls are rough, but you get used to it after awhile
the cats are pettable and they do purr
