Oh dear, I really ended up liking him much more after messing about with him for a while, but it did take a good day or so to warm up to him after my initial impression. I kept glancing at my MMC Rollbar going why are you so much better to transform compared to this.

It's a nice reuse of the Chase mold. The little wing flaps are annoying in bot mode but if you leave them up in alt mode he vaguely resembles Thunderhawk from MASK.

Aww that sucks. Hopefully you can salvage it, or source a replacement hook to sell as a set?

It just feels like a re-release rather than a reboot. I'm still tempted simple for nostalgia and the fact the originals go for crazy money but this does feel like a half hearted attempt at bringing the ip back.
