Irrespective of the “successful” targeted killing of Khamenei, we mustn’t forget the killing of 107 school girls in Iran.

In this world of unimaginable surveillance, intelligence and accuracy, the bombing of a school is unforgivable and cannot be accepted as unfortunate collateral damage.

As journalists working today many of us are taught to recognise disinformation when we see it and fight back against it.

Unfortunately there are some who willingly seek it out and put it on their front pages. A disgrace to the profession.

I just found my copy of the Red Dwarf book, that I read when 11….

It has been passed on to the offspring.

This is a very bad idea, for several reasons. Here are 10, for starters:

1.
It discriminates against students who have required additional financial support

2.
It fails to address the reasons for poor retention

3.
...and it only shifts the retention problem a few years further down the line

Gutted to have learnt of this today.

Remember being introduced to Red Dwarf as a sub-ten yr old, both book and TV series.
