I’ll believe that the #CanPL is serious about bringing Edmonton back into the fold when they (and #OneSoccer) stop minimizing players time with #FCEd. Looking at you Wheeler.

2nd thought… if/when the #CanPL returns to #yeg, they should call the team the rabbits straight up. It’s a nod to the history while new and different. People won’t care what it’s called, theres a local baseball team called “Energy City Cactus Rats” for Pete’s sake. Rabbits is way easier to explain.

Random #CanPL thought: the league not acknowledging the history or even the rabbit for #FCEd (for example not calling them “The Rabbits… EVER) really shows how misguided/what a miss the early years were. Too much focus on being artificial history rather than highlighting what made it different IMO
