It was supposed to be made with custard (creme pâtissière), but chocolate mysteriously made its way on it 😇

Taking the fish out for a walk

I need to have things like a nonfiction audiobook or a youtube documentary or video essays going on while I draw or I get bored—but I can't deal with anything requiring a big focus. That way it's fine if I miss a few words or a sentence, and I occasionally press pause or go back if I miss too much 😂

So to make I choice, I'd advise you to go with 1) something that people would associate with you, 2) something that illustrate your art style well, 3) if you can, also something that has the right mood / theme to represent you, your art and your writing

Since I was just starting to get involved with the community, I just grab whatever I had on hand that was pretty 😂 Since people knew me for that article, it help them recognise me on discord. Still love it years later 😊

So i think it's not something a lot of countries have. I found some when I lived in Germany but never had any luck in the UK & it was the thing I was missing the most 😂

We grow a ton in France - I went on holidays in the orchard last year. Apricot juice is a "nectar" & you need to cook them & add sugar, so it's not really something you do yourself but that you have to buy.

Humans are unique in having developed magic channels to speed up the transport of magic particles inside their body.

Other organisms have magic inside their body but not all have director cells to use it consciously. Its important for their health (e.g. immune system) & defense mechanism

In the end, I feel that once you play with an idea and appropriate it enough to make it your own, it's fine. Some people are always going to compare regardless of your inspiration - like if you write a magical school, everyone will talk about HP no matter how dissimilar it is 😂

Any stories that I read. I get inspired a lot by type of settings and daydream about what my own versions would look like XD

When making magic system, I always end up going back to my biochemistry/bioinorganic chemistry roots and talking about molecules and magical particles 😂

If not that, then it'd all maths with runic geometric designs.

This brought up so many memories from my time in the lab! (Only 2 years since I left academia, but this feels an eternity ago already 😂).
I definitely don't miss cell culture and endless contamination of my cells though 😅

Ice is the worst 😱 I just keep falling down just walking in the street. And getting wet when it's near freezing is just terrible too...

Yes, at first it was melting immediately, but we had a big storm over us and it snowed all day, so some of it had to end up sticking 😂

We'll probably get some ice over night as it'll be 0°c (and the forecast has just announced more snow in the morning), but it won't stick long after that.
