My favorite water tower was the one in my hometown of Sacramento at Cal Expo featuring a 185-foot mural by supergraphics artist Barbara Stauffacher Solomon which has since been painted over.

At some point in the mid-‘90s it occurred to me I could walk into the exit hydrolators and bypass the movie. If a CM spotted me they would tell me I needed to go around to the front. But most days no one was posted there so I’d go in and freak out people waiting for the exit hydrolator.

The thing that kind of stinks about your category is that there are some individuals that get named in the nomination, who do become "Emmy Award-winning". I assume they're in supervisory roles.

Here’s a practical example. “The Office” won 5 Emmy Awards, but Steve Carell has never won an Emmy for acting on the show. So he is not the “Emmy Award-Winning” Steve Carell. You worked on an Emmy-nominated show but you yourself are not Emmy-nominated.

It’s still quite an accomplishment!

If you could put any Disneyland onomatopoeia on a historical plaque, what would it be?

I enjoy the “psss-psss clickety-clack” of the pneumatic cylinders in the tiki birds.

Here is the site that the AI built its copy from. The text on this page from 2014 includes the phrase "quite small" and has all the details of the spaces listed in only a slightly different way.

“…has been an opera house ever since.” Ever since what? The Great Sawmill Disaster of 1889? Also it was never a saw mill - it didn’t turn logs into lumber. History is now vibes only.

From the days of yore on Twitter, “foamers” are hardcore fans of the parks, who are often critical. Typically older. “Dusters,” from “Pixie Dusters,” are younger, overwhelmingly positive fans who believe everything announced is awesome. Critique is not allowed.

Most people lack the vocabulary to describe what they’re hearing and the industry keeps positioning audio restoration (like what was used in the Beatles “Get Back” movie) as AI, so they don’t know what else to call it.

Dude, I’m asking for clarification to find out what your point is because your statement was so vague. I’m not attacking you. I saw a reel this morning that used source audio instead of an echoey in-theater recording, and it sounded better. It’s absolutely been digitally cleaned up & lost low end.

Shifting weight is huge. And here the “leg” that holds the weight has no knee bend, so the leg seems stiff.

They definitely tried to capture “the spark.” They also left all the wrinkles, bags, and liver spots off of his face and hands. It’s an idealized Walt, which is a choice.
