Wow Starmer finally drawing a line!

Despite Bronson's revenge subplot, the whole of Once Upon a Time in the West is her story and she handles it perfectly.

Here is the Sun's pitifully small apology for its lie about benefits tourism - a lie that was accepted as truth by millions and helped deliver Brexit.

These lies are perverting our democracy. At a minimum, apologies should be published in the same location and size as the lie.

THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER premiered on this day 70 years ago in Des Moines, Iowa, to negative reviews. As a result, it was the only film directed by Charles Laughton, truly unique in every way, and an utter masterpiece. A grim, poetic, fairy tale, slathered in beauty, suffused in American Gothic...

Watched this movie in the brilliant Cinema City in Norwich about 20 years ago. One of the most intense and mesmerising cinematic experiences of my life. A genuine masterpiece. Captivating, charming and horrifying. There’s nothing else like it.

The Night of the Hunter is 70.
It’s one of my top 5 movies. The critics savaged it & it was a financial disaster but its influence only increases with each passing year.
A true original.
