With the season finale coming out this week here is your reminder that Star Trek Starfleet Academy Lost Contact comes out on 04/15/26 🖖
The frog goes to the club, doesn’t have fun, and gets sad because nobody noticed his little boots.
Just turned in a pitch I've been mad at and sitting on for like 6 months. Please clap.
(it probably still sucks but that isn't the point!)
watching everyone's chosen gif responses to this is like a little cosmogirl personality quiz
I'm on season 1 episode 10 but I did tear up a bit a couple episodes ago during the honor walk situation
Me and the rats ✌🏼
Absolutely obsessed with watching people on my towns FB page give each other advice
Met a fine young man this weekend who referred to me as “scarecrow” before he hugged me and left so if anyone wants to know where the only acceptable straight man is I know him
As a publisher and a CREATOR, there were many reasons I was so excited to have our books on Sweet Shop.
Including:
1) Purchase only, so I can make money off the content.
2) Fantastic contract in terms of rights and splits.
3) No AI
4) Fabulous UI
5) Kenny
If you're not in/ on the waitlist...
God. It's just infuriating.
My brother is a teacher at the same school. Hearing a grown man tell me how every time they do a drill he has to think about prioritizing the safety of his classroom over going to his own son is a kind of a fucked up I just don't want.
We recently took him to dinner and the server made him a balloon gun. We don’t do toy guns to it was a little complicated. Halfway through when he started telling us that he was “getting us with water” we realized he doesn’t know what a bullet is.
But I guess he can still die at school.
Just found out that my four year old nephew had to do a lockdown/school shooter drill. He's scared of pirates now because they had to pretend to hide from Captain Hook.
What the fuck are we doing?
FOC!!!
Found someone thanks all!
I had a "bad guy being bad" on my beats board for so long one of my friends put it on my fridge
That would be amazing
Oil up by $12 a barrel in less than 12 hours.
Gas prices skyrocketing.
Almost 100,000 jobs lost last month.
Another war in the Middle East.
Are we great again yet?
HELP does ANYONE speak enough hungarian to help me with an old timey curse word/phrase!? I just need one for a script! It's time sensitive!
I was trying keto when my appendix burst and I nearly died. My good friend was also trying keto when she got appendicitis. People insist the two aren’t connected but there’s not enough research yet. Intense diet shifts are dangerous!
So nice that the hero of Gotham City takes time out of her big schedule to keep watch over my room.
Does anyone at ECCC wanna get me the selunite shadowheart funko pop i'll pay you money
Today was not my favorite. Look how cute my nephew is:
A struggle I often have as a very neurodivergent writer is that I will early on, mentally anticipate 5 problems, jump to the solutions and apply them. And that causes SO many bumps in the process for everyone and adds a lot more work/time to my work later.
A staffing portal that people actually use that makes LL jobs AVAILABLE TO US would help
ULs not only hiring their 4 friends would help
Staffing requirements requiring 1-2 LLs per show would help
waiving dues for those of us making peanuts would help
we're shut out from advocating for ourselves
and anytime we try to talk about it we look like crazy ungrateful brats who don't understand that it's "hard for everyone right now." WE KNOW. But you guys have avenues in front of you. Sure only 10 people are able to use them. But we don't even have that. And no one is willing to be noisy about it.
- reps won't read us because they can't get us jobs
- the wga won't let us vote because we can't pay dues on the minor residual income we get
- our UL pals can't help us because they need the jobs themselves
- we can't do fellowships because we've already been working writers
make no mistake my frustration/exhaustion with the WGA is mostly frustration/exhaustion with the industry as a whole. I love the guild. but there's just NO change ever. When upper levels lost their agents we VERY quickly had an accessible staffing portal that everyone gave up on ASAP
"vote on the 2026 pattern of demands"
girl i haven't been able to vote in the WGA for years. let me know when y'all want to talk about making jobs accessible for the lower levels you let be the compromise on the last contract
