And people with alexithymia are not taken seriously as a valid experience. I experience all 3, and when I experience one from ppl who should know better, that sucks a lot.

The Elderwoods update got me diving back into #Palia and I found myself wondering what the game must be like from the perspective of a human that slowly remembers the life they lived before. So I started a story about it! Check out "This Body is a Temple to a Mad God" on AO3:

One good thing about being slow to get into new things and being out of the pop culture loop is that whenever I stumble on callout posts or videos about how some beloved famous person is bad, actually, I have no idea who they are or why I should bother to find out. Keeps the stress down.

I don't think Americans have come to terms with the damage that has been done. No one will ever trust the USA as a reliable trading partner, a reliable military partner or a reliable destination. This is the Fall of the American Empire... Even if everything was reversed... the damage is done!

Not entirely (some of the people in the scene did not react great, and I think I wrote them the way I expect some real people I know would react), but pretty much exactly what I would want to happen. What I would want to say.

I realized it was kind of important to me. But what do I do with that?
