What ever happened to throwing those plastic two litre cider bottles of piss at the stage?

Something that’s often occurred to me but I’ve never voiced.

Why is it ok to answer a comedian in the positive when they ask a question on stage by whooping, but not off stage, in an enclosed space?

“Would you like a cup of tea Julia?”
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!”
“Get out of my kitchen”
