Noting this, because you're actually not allowed to collect any rocks bigger than your hand and not too much of them either. (There was some rule/law about that)

(Rocks are to be collected from an area that my relative owns and I have a permission from them to collect as much as I want.)

The urge to go pick pretty and/or interesting rocks is very intense. But I know I'll come back home with a bagful of rocks, so I gotta do it when I'm prepared with a bag lmao

Altough I work very slowly on the comics, they're never forgotten or abandoned. I'm feeling excited to possibly start/continue drawing Nebulous REM this year finally. Maybe I should share more art about the characters here, starting from old art perhaps?

Been planning the comics stories and trying to think of sideplots to not to make main plots go too fast. (For all 3 comics I'm planning lol)
The comic that's the most "ready" to be drawn is Nebulous REM, but I still need to get rid of two plotholes (and not create any new ones)

6. My least favorite thing to draw is very tiny details. That's why there's not much of them in my drawings. I try to draw like they look detailed, but if you zoom in, they're not, it's an illusion

1. I think I prefer traditional art. Altough I have gotten to like doing digital art too. But I'm much faster at traditional art, which makes it easier to draw what I'm thinking lol

TEXT: Corner Tangent When two lines meet in a drawing to create a corner, that’s not a problem, but when another line runs into that corner, it creates a corner tangent. (Image demonstrating this) An effective exercise to help you avoid corner and bump-up tangents is to lay out a big grid, and try to draw a character running, jumping, dancing, etc over it without creating any tangents with the grid. (Image demonstrating this)

TEXT: Parallel Tangent A parallel tangent is when two lines follow the same direction, and in doing so “trap” one line in the form created by the other, as the dust cloud does here with the character’s head, and the wall with the character’s coat. (image demonstrating this) When lines intersect at too steep an angle, they have a tendency to get clunky and create a thick area at their intersection. a thirty-five degree angle (eyeballed) is about as close as I let two intersecting lines get: (image of two lines intersecting at a thirty-five degree angle) Closer than that, and I simply stop one of the lines short. this helps avoid the clumping you might otherwise see. (image of two lines NEARLY intersecting at a 22 degree angle)

TEXT: Cross-panel tangent (Image: two panels butted up against each other; the word balloon in one runs into the tail of a horse in another) Watch to make sure that you don’t have any tangents created by the proximity of lines in two different panels, especially panels without a gutter between them. (Image: two panels: the line of a jaw in the first follows the same axis as a roof in the second, though a gutter separates the line from appearing continuous) Even with a gutter, compositions can be strengthened by making sure that lines on either side of it don’t share the same path.

TEXT: Fake Panels (image: a wanted man standing in front of a wall. The line of the wall runs uninterrupted from the top of the panel to the bottom) A line running uninterrupted from one side of a panel to the other (vertically OR horizontally or diagonally) can suggest to the audience that the line is a panel border. (image: same image, but not the elbow breaks the continuity of the wall's line) Ensure clarity by breaking the line with an element in the drawing (like the wanted man’s elbow in the example)

A poster for my art exhibit
