Where would you out the paladins?

30.10.2025 03:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Chatbots β LLMs β do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When theyβre βrightβ itβs because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. Thatβs all.

24.10.2025 02:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Phew managed to make it another day without getting a nazi tattoo. Itβs hard out here. Just nazi tattoos roaming the streets attaching themselves to people. Stay woke

It wasn't armored trucks - just normal people in normal cars exchanging deposited checks
If they get rid of it, disavow, grow.
I'm not saying it MUST be forgiven. I can understand forgiving someone who has that if it's a personal relationship. It does disqualify them for public service in so many ways.
And you know what, they can be forgiven for that. But it isn't something you want an elected official having in their past unless you're cool with Nazis.

22.10.2025 15:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Magic seems to have gone from fun to super competitive very fast as a game, and the circle back to play for fun and negotiated mods help new people engage while some long term players get upset at it.
22.10.2025 15:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0The wild thing to me is that every analog game has house rules and negotiated mods. Historically, we didn't play with such a wide range of people (or discuss games with a community of thousands online), so house rules were barely brought up until someone came in from a new social circle
22.10.2025 15:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0The game players who cannot handle anything if it isn't had coded rules are the bane of many a hobby

21.10.2025 18:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That feels akin to games research ignoring everything before pong - there is a recency bias that I think is fed by interest driven by commercial desires over a focus on history

20.10.2025 17:39 β π 964 π 293 π¬ 25 π 14one of the worst fucking things in the world is the move to call sincerity and care "cringe"
fuck that shit. let's build a political community based on care for one another.
Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.
Remember them the next time youβre inclined to write an area off because βthey voted for this.β
I was an evangelist for online learning until I took a MOOC. It was a well designed class, but so ial structures don't scale the way economists think, so it did not deliver solid learning. Because all education is social.
17.10.2025 13:00 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0And some of us can't leave those states because of their economic state, regardless of their demographics.
The artificial red state blue state divide is a position of saying it's okay to throw away everyone in that state, even those that look and vote like you.
The idea that means testing is what ensures that people who need medicine get it is in fact immoral when people need it to live.
The drug should be free, paid for by the state, with no profit made on it.
Making money of ransoming someone's ability to live is immoral.
No. You can't. And suggesting it is just saying you want to give up on everyone who lives someplace where they are gerrymandered out of having a voice.
Stop with the red state blue state crap. Fight for people across the entire country.
I'm not crying. I'm yelling. In rage. Becquse you're suggesting that some people don't make enough money to have the right to live.
Which is immoral.
ABOLISH ICE and EXPAND THE SUPREME COURT should be mainstream Democratic promises and talking points.
But timidity and civility will rule the day and screw the rest of us and this country in the end.
It took me a few days to realize it wasn't my algorithm bringing me Brennan stuff, it was Brennan bringing my algorithm all sorts of new (to me) content creators
16.10.2025 21:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There is no "less needy" when it comes to insulin. T1D diagnosis means you need it to survive.
Considering a means test for an essential medicine is an immoral act that centrist Dems need to move away from.
Have you ever been lost in a video game level, wandering empty halls, until you know you're going the right way because you finally run into enemies? Because you don't know what to do without conflict? Well some people live their real lives that way
