(nakama ain't it. the characters of One Piece are not technically speaking Japanese. there is no reason they would use the JP word "nakama," especially when "crew" is a perfectly serviceable equivalent)
it's amazing what cultural relevance an old fansub still has today.
whoever was the translator at Kaizoku fansubs and decided to not translate nakama, just look at your legacy...
