I noticed crews checking out the power lines and trees earlier in the week. This seemed to be a short outage so perhaps it was a power transfer. Hopefully they do begin trimming the trees back though.

We’ve only lived in this area of NJ for 5 years. Not sure what the reason is for the power outages. When we hear the generator kick on we know power went out. A quick confirmation with JCPL and a notice of restoration (10:30am) hopefully.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good morning, Jean. Did you have bad weather overnight? It was horrible here. Finally quieted down around 2 am, then at 6:30 power went out. Generator came right on.
Thanks! It passed over rather quickly but was intense. The bag is at the basement door incase we get another alert.
