Caring for others and trying to do no harm is the most effective method of protecting yourself from harm. It is, however, like vaccination against some deseases, you need a high buy in to prevent the spread of harm/desease.

I've asked this question, and it seems very individual. Looks like it takes time to establish a stable system, which may then be democratic, committee like, or automatic response to environment or something else. Same about how much they are seperate, it varies.

Our UK Home Secretary wants there to be more restrictions on those arrested at protests. Totally ignores the fact that many of those arrested are pensioners with a moral cause and nothing to lose. Look at WHY they protest, and fix that.

If Republicans had enough Republican votes to pass the budget, why did the shutdown occur? From outside the USA, this makes no sense whatsoever, but I don't see any media asking this straightforward question.

Most of us are really uncomfortable as the focus of attention, so it has to be something we care about to be about to overcome our natural reticence.

Why don't they just ask local police for information on the armed gangs that this whole operation was stated to be about? Unless... perhaps, it never was about removing dangerous criminals?

Can they not be sued? From outside the USA, it has always seemed to be the remedy of first choice?

Isn't tear gas for controlling large crowds? It may be the angle of the video, but where are the crowds? Out of interest, do they have to sign out munitions, then account of their use of any they don't return? That's standard practice in the UK, everything accounted for...

Having masked all my long adult life, I am learning to drop it as far as I want, when I want. When in autistic company, I am more me, noticeably. Being in control of you own masking is still stressful, but more manageable.

So in the meeting, China will say 'we understand' and 'of course we will consider this matter'. Trump will take this as them agreeing to buy soybeans, but it means they will consider, and not buy, because it is not in their interests. Trump does not understand China/Russia/anywhere.

The British army didn't tailor their uniforms, but officers, whe tended to come from the upper classes had their own tailor, who would make adjustments. This means the officers in old pictures look very smart early on, then less so as non-upper class officers replaced them.

If the Government is shut down, where will the funds to pay the buyoffs come from? Assuming the money isn't paid until the end of employment, which is the coming week? Just a technical thought...

So if US troops abandon the rules of war as set out in the Geneva Convention, they automatically remove the protections it gives them? I think that's how it works?

Why, after the speech, did none of them stand up and refute what he had said? If one brave soul had stood and asked a question, how many others would have done the same? Officers always have the right to question, and the duty to do so.

And the company will mysteriously go into administration, all it's assets having been conveniently transferred to other companies and shareholders some time before, leaving nothing to reclaim and none of the profiteers accountable...

Band together with other autistic workers in your areas, talk to each other, give support and advice. Almost certainly there will be one person who has read and memorised the laws in detail, and can explain them in understandable form, with page numbers to look up! ;-)

This divide is also seen in the LGBT+ communities, with each splitting away into seperate, and more vulnerable, groups, competing for the resources available.
