Pls also keep in mind that stress triggers seizures so I really have to be careful about that so my social abilities have been pretty much halted because of that and I'll be operating a bit differently because of it too but I'm just trying to do my best :') thanks for patience

I'm taking a break for a while, I'm beyond exhausted and broken from this shit experience.

Update:
My doctor upped the dose for the anti seizure medication and I have had 2 nights without seizures and I am no longer experiencing constant aura. I am seeing my neurologist on the 19th and the soonest I could see an epilepsy specialist was February 11th.

also shout out to my nurse josh for taking his anger out on me and taking my iv out in the most violent way physically possible and splattering blood all over my bed. you rock and totally don't need an evaluation.

it's possible that this all may just slowly get better as the poisoning stops, which I'm really hoping for. also get a therapist to give me medication for anxiety and ptsd since i definitely have that now regardless of whether i did before or not 😒

They have me a laughable amount of hydroxyzine when they discharged me. Still having seizures when i sleep so that's cool. going to call my pcp tomorrow and see if she will advocate for those blood tests.

My step mom is a nurse and looked over my blood tests and also believes this based on my symptoms. I did request TSH and T4 FREE blood tests to help rule that out and the denied my request because they suck really bad and my doctor's are clearly don't give a single fuck.

Update:
Got discharged, doctors are super dismissive. I'm still pretty sure I have some kind of iodine poisoning from the contrast especially because they did a ct scan at the er after the angio which probably made it worse.

if it is truly just ptsd, anxiety medication "should" help to an extent? the events are short, i don't really know/think they rely on me waking up in order to stop. wish me luck. the hydroxyzine will kick in soon. 🤞💗

update: just had at least 9 of the "seizure" events in a row while trying to sleep. we will see if they are picked up by the eeg. i requested hydroxyzine which is an anti anxiety medication to see if it will help me sleep because the events keep happening.

i also had a bunch of muscle spasms while i was having the eeg, which could have been a psuedoseizure but i also have tourettes and i think maybe it may have been related to that. getting a therapist. i guess. oh my god. make it stop already...

Update:
Did the eeg luckily it's not epilepsy but right now the doctors seem to have decided that this is just a very extreme case of psuedoseizures due to a bad ptsd reaction which was probably worsened because my mom was very abusive towards me after my procedure.

Just had a seizure in front of the doctor at the ER while trying to explain the seizure to the doctor so im finally being taken seriously so thats cool at least

also to be clear i didn't have a name for this until just a bit ago, just symptoms that were being ignored. hopefully my appointment with a name will help put it together

I mentioned problems relating to this to my doctors immediately after waking from general anesthesia, and I have been to the er begging for help regarding this multiple times. I have been ignored. Hopefully it isn't too late and will be reversible... Wish me luck...

Update: Appointment tomorrow morning. I think i may have multiple complications. The most serious, my best guess currently, is called Contrast-Induced Encephalopathy. It causes a number of things like seizures, including sleep seizures which I am definitely having.

Update: My friend is going to bring me back to the ER later tonight when they get off of work and i am making a write up to see if they will admit me back into the hospital and do some tests on me. im genuinely afraid if they dont do something about whats going on with me i might die.

Quick update. Not dead but feel like I'm dying. Trying to get a hold of my doctor because I dont feel normal. Been having some kind of seizure like thing every night when I try to sleep. Pressure in my ear is insane. Feeling horrific. ER not taking me seriously. Sigh.

Oh ok that's a very good thing to know! I'm sooo ready for relief haha
