It was a highlight of my year to present a paper about a theme from my PhD ‘Harness a simple design for enhancing social learning’ at the Good Design Week at Swinburne University, Sawarak, last week. I have arrived home happy and inspired.
It was a pleasure to travel to Swinburne University, Sawarak, to facilitate a workshop for staff applying for AdvanceHE Fellowships in 2025. The kindess of those who welcomed me was so appreciated. The food was wonderful too!
I agree that language is important to the integrity of your thesis and to help tell your story. It can be powerful if links back to the philosophy and methods you are using. If understanding and exploring perception aligns with your approach and answering the question, then it can be perfect fit.
It was wonderful to host a panel about meaningful learning in the Swinburne Graduate Certificate of Learning and Teaching at the Inaugral Professional Learning Symposium yesterday with students (educator participants). All presentations during the day were insightful across so many universities!
Absolutely! But do we always have the feedback/conversational literacy to perceive the feedback constructively? In a conversation how we look may not match what we are thinking. That old chestnut!
Loved sharing the ASCILITE experience with fabulous women from our academic team in the Education Innovation Exchange at Swinburne University 😀

It's not the same as turning up in person, but really cool that the #ascilite2024 papers are all available here so I can go look them all up: publications.ascilite.org/index.php/AP...
