Yeah, I totally get that. I think the show, as great as it is, loses a lot of its character without having read the book first. The book makes the show a lot more impactful since you know whatโs really going on in their heads.

I think the show is much more enjoyable after reading the book. There is a lot of emotional development for the characters that the show might not be able to portray in 60 minutes ๐

I think the narrator change is killing it for me. I like the original narrator. Especially his portrayal of Ilya, it was spot on. This guys Russian accent isnโt very good.
I also donโt particularly care for follow up books when it comes to romance
