Everytime I see Lura Thok, I love her even more than the last episode. She continues to climb. Also, love an asshole vulcan. Was a really fun episode. Im blitzing thru this. Fun show. Good Trek.

Klingon/Jemhadar still winning (I will eventual learn her name). Aldo, Jay-den is a cutie. I liked it. Cute story. A little cringe at the end, but in a way thats very hopeful. Also, love Tig. Great to see her again.
Finally starting Starfleet Academy. After episode 1, I think so far, I like all the characters. I mean, they are youngins, who act as such. Which I like. I love the amount of aliens. Both new Trek and legacy. Also, Love that the captain sits in her chair like I would haha. Jemhadar cmd is boss.
Just fyi the first post on this thread is OP stating this is sarcasm. I think she assumed that on bluesky it would be taken as such, but you know how it is on social media. I as well needed to dig a layer deeper to be sure.
First #animation with Opentoonz. Falling a little fast. But pretty fun for my first ball drop haha. Just going thru the common exercises.
I call this the “Sim effect” for myself with how often I will go somewhere for a specific purpose and then just stand around like a Sim (Sims video games) having no idea what I was doing.
for me it wasnt the pole that snapped. it was the metal holding together the seat and chair back together that snapped and i went flying to the ground. Quite surprising.
First bowl. Idk if its maple or ash. The package of wood blanks was supposed to tell me which was which but all they marked was the mahogany blank. haha.
Finished with a BLO beeswax mix. (Think ill try to make a food safe finished next)

Second stool. First time doing round legs. Cedar top, pine legs. I like how comfortable the seat is.
The legs didn't make it all the way thru, will need to fill top. All in all, good learning project. Fun to work on.

I usually visualize a piece of paper and then writing thru the process of the problem.
TBF i try to actually write the problems down, and/or use my fingers, just cause I know I can skip steps and want to be able to easily look back over my work to triple check that I got it right haha
I do
10 + 30 = 40
7 + 8 = 15
40 + 15 = 55
I sort of hate the number 7 thou. It always takes longer for me to work with for some reason.
