I have managed calculate point cloud data from the game's physics system into a grid, which then I load into a separate thread at runtime. This allows me to offload character simulation outside of unity!

Tomorrow I'm trying out a new implementation of a grid navigation system where I'm taking the game worlds physics enabled objects and converting them into a structure the NPCs can use to navigate with on a separate thread.
