Today, longer. Doing my part in the #economicblackout. No more Target, Walmart, never Twitter, fading from Amazon, Facebook, others. We the people have power.

For humanity, always.

I will admit I'm not politically savvy, but I will fiercely defend doing the right thing for humanity. And animals. At this moment I'm taking a breath to focus on beauty, kindness, love. Something painfully missing in the White House.

Keeps being true. Every day.

As I approach retirement age, I reflect on learnings applied to my career including this: Leaders do the right thing. Managers do things right. Know when to do one, the other, or both.

#47 needs to understand the concept of at least one of these. For the people.

It’s a ways away, but we have our tickets to Ichiro’s jersey retirement ceremony on Aug 9 and I’m so excited! What a joy he’s been to watch since he stepped onto the field as a #SeattleMariners

My prayers go out to the 67 lives lost in the collision over the Potomac River, as well as to their families. A person's first response is usually their most honest. What 47 first posted last night shows his lack of compassion and empathy. What he showed hours after is what his PR team scripted.

I watched video of Bishop Mariann Budde’s plea to DT for compassion and kindness. I saw him tune her out when she was speaking to him. Then he wrote this. What a little, little boy.

This is more like Twitter and I mostly scrolled and rarely posted. Will give it a go here. I don’t like what I’m seeing on FB, but so many connections with family, friends, and personal interests.

Trying to identify and navigate a new social media path. Deactivated X a few days ago, happily. EM may have a brilliant brain, but he is a horrible human. MZ sold his soul and I need to figure out how engaged I remain with FB and IG.

I’m also a Microsoftee. Wrapped up attending a 4-day conference with 600 colleagues from around the world, meeting new people and deepening connections with others. Productive and energizing!

My first post on Blue Sky. It's the start of a conscious uncoupling from other social media platforms. Speaking of blue, I am a corporate communications professional who likes to bake as my creative outlet then give away to charities. I made these for a women's shelter. It feels good to give back.
