Arsenal have only failed to score in one of their last 15 Premier League games against Chelsea.

Polanski and Farage have more in common than you might think Despite huge political differences, the Green and Reform leaders have much in common, writes Laura Kuenssberg.

So typical of the BBC to make an historic win for the Green Party this week into a story involving Farage and Reform. The level of bias at the BBC is embarrassing.

Arsenal will play Leverkusen.

We are in a different half of the draw to Man City, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea, Liverpool and obviously Bayern.

Bodo Glimt or Sporting Lisbon in the 1/4 finals if we get past Leverkusen!

Man City v Real Madrid - ha. Let's hope we get drawn in the other side of the draw 🀞

It's easy to do nothing. Better at least to try to do something to create more equity across European football.

26.02.2026 02:35 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

They created that problem by expanding. Players are motivated by two things - money and playing in the UCL. If they can get both by being in a team finishing 5th they will do that, but if they have to finish top three, maybe, just maybe they might swap a bit of cash for playing in other countries.

26.02.2026 02:34 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

We watch Premier League clubs play each other already. The whole point of European football since inception is to watch the best clubs of other European countries against your team.

26.02.2026 02:32 β€” πŸ‘ 11    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

They can stop enabling it in part. If there are only three teams in it from each country for example, the spread of that revenue enables some of the clubs in Europe to come closer. It may not fully close the gap, but all the current model does is accentuate the gaps.

26.02.2026 02:30 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Best teams? Spurs are in it ;)

It's better for more countries to have teams with an opportunity for CL revenue so that they can compete to be the best 16 teams or have the best players to be the best club tournament. Otherwise the Premier League money will make the gap even wider.

26.02.2026 02:23 β€” πŸ‘ 15    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

They need to change the rules back to limit countries to just four teams or even fewer. Surely no one wants more than a third of the teams at this stage to be from one country?

The threat of a breakaway league by the "big" clubs will prevent it of course.

26.02.2026 02:17 β€” πŸ‘ 43    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 11    πŸ“Œ 1

I don't know. They will probably pair teams based on opponents as well as the London clubs.

It's feasible City could draw Madrid and we might face the winner of that tie OR the winner of Bodo v Sporting depending on which side of the draw we end up. More likely with warm balls and all, City and Madrid will be kept apart and you'd think we'd face one or the other in the quarter finals.

25.02.2026 22:41 β€” πŸ‘ 14    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

If we're very lucky, City will draw Madrid and go into the same half of the draw as Bayern for a quarter final, opening up an "easier" run to the semis for Arsenal if they progress (on paper).

25.02.2026 22:40 β€” πŸ‘ 18    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Arsenal will play Leverkusen OR Atalanta in Round of 16.

In 1/4 finals, Inter's defeat means Man City OR Sporting will play Bodo Glimt OR Real Madrid.

Arsenal will play one of those in the quarter finals

25.02.2026 22:38 β€” πŸ‘ 37    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 5    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes the routes to the final are set so once the draw is complete you can map out each team's potential opponents all the way to the final.

Champions League bracket is shaping up interestingly Arsenal will play Leverkusen OR most Likely Dortmund in Round of 16.

In 1/4 finals, Inter's defeat means Man City OR Sporting will play Bodo Glimt OR Real Madrid (assuming they beat Benfica.

Arsenal will play one of those in the quarter finals

At least Leverkusen's progression tonight means we can't draw Olympiacos yet again in the Champions League.

I really enjoyed the two finishes because they were instinctive and very similar to the types of goals he scored in the highlights reels for Sporting. I think Arsenal need to focus on what he's good at and that's not necessarily being a six-yard poacher.

Arsenal (4) have won more north London derbies at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium than Spurs (3).

That's correct. Deflections that impact the direction of the ball means the assist doesn't count. Saka will get a "Fantasy Assist" for FPL though as we log deflected passes and rebounds from shots etc.
