One reason we have regulations.
@fetterman.senate.gov, stop sending vague form letters that answer NONE of the concerns I’ve called & emailed you about—most of which reference your betrayal of your voters by running as a Democrat but then consistently voting as a Republican, cozying up to Trump every chance you get! Enough!
It’s my favorite piece of punctuation—really!
Loving God, please allow your dear one to rest tonight in your embrace and know deep rest and health in the morning. We thank you for your love and care. Amen

I sent her a thank you yesterday. It’s important to appreciate those breaking ranks.
Thank you for taking action!
My dad died from melanoma. I’m hyper vigilant.
FDA Cancels Flu Shot Vaccine Expert Meeting
“It’s a six-month production cycle. So one can only assume that we’re not picking flu strains this year.”
This could stop or delay production of flu vaccines this year.

I just sent her a thank you message for speaking out!
Horrifying that they’re calling charities—mainly Christian charities, like they claim to be— of being terrorist organizations, when what they’re doing is keeping people fed, providing lifesaving vaccinations and medicine, and distributing seeds to farmers so they can fed their communities.
Father,
We lift up #immigrants and #refugees to You, those who seek safety, opportunity, and a better life. Be their shelter in times of uncertainty, their guide in unfamiliar places, and their strength in hardship. Surround them with kindness and the support they need.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
@fetterman.senate.gov — You’ve cooperated with the felon more than enough! Stand up and stop these illegal funding pauses by the President. People will continue to suffer—and you are complicit. I’m so disappointed that I ever voted for you.
And fix your phone so that we don’t get “mailbox full.”
“Your princes plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They make many widows in the land. Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money!”

@sergeantaqgo.bsky.social and @libradunn1.bsky.social, I am so sorry for the way you’ve been disrespected by the current president (both 4 years ago and now). You deserved better.
Without downloading any new pictures, where are you at mentally?
“What difference would it make in today’s world if we looked at all strangers in the way we look at a child—an unknown but welcome person we hope will become a friend in our home.”

Arghh! Why didn’t I reread before hitting the arrow? Sorry for the “what I was needed” grammar fiasco!
I hated trying to learn Teams. It never felt intuitive and I couldn’t find what I was needed ever. I eventually left a job, in part, over having to work in Teams.
I feel your pain. (It’s been a year and I’m still feeling petulant about it. )
I’m convinced the main requirement of literary fiction is that the characters are under no circumstances allowed to be happy.
Ughh.
This is also the very show and song that shattered my childish illusion that singers were “singing their truth,” since I had heard they were getting divorced and yet they got right back on the show and kept singing this song. 😞
Enter the year you turned 10ish into the gif bar and see what was popular back then…
I found The Midnight Library fascinating and hard to forget. And I second Everything Sad Is Untrue (although I read it earlier)
Ahh! Much gratitude. This has been driving me nuts.
A thought for a new year:
“I never let the memory of something painful prevent me from trying something new.”

It’s time for that perfect Christmas movie! #Muppets
We have Libby where I am, so this may not work, but check with your nearest big city. In Pennsylvania, any state resident can sign up to borrow books from the Free Library of Philadelphia, which gives me a much wider selection on the app. (And in my case, 14 days vs my county’s 7.)
