Also there was this event around the same time which left everybody staying at home for extended periods.

Maybe if Sony had made Forbidden West actually good then people wouldn't consider playing clones.

(I'm being hyperbolic, creative theft like this should never go unchecked, and people are going to play clones even if HFW had been amazing. I'm still just pissed that HFW was so phoned in)
