They're right btw. For a game that came out on the SNES, whose prequels were extremely cryptic, LttP is an incredibly well made and well aged game. I normally really don't like a lot of retro games that people claim are amazing, like how Mega Man X sucks, but MAN LttP is full, uncompromised fun.

Sometimes pose reference from videos is more helpful than reference than from photos. A lot of photo reference is taken from someone standing still, so theyre balanced on their feet/whatever when the pictures taken. Drawing only balanced poses can make your art feel very still.
