I learned to eat seasonally when I was in Spain at 22,then when I 1st lived alone, I got this seasonal eating cookbook and it changed my perspective on food. I still have and love the book

A rodeo is right! Deer season starts this weekend and then we have to harvest 40 chickens first week of November.

Our main issue was rodents last year. The well house is cool and a constant temp. Going to try to hang them in there or put an apple box atop a tower of plastic buckets rodents can’t climb.

I do! I’ve had them ripening well in a cardboard box with some apples and in other flat box covered in brown paper. Works!

I’ll call again tomorrow and report back. I friend and I have been trying to figure it out and the conclusion we both came to was the health department was the only place around to get it for the under 12 crown here. Will report back tomorrow!

I truly feel overstretched right now, but it’s a moment. I’m looking forward to. Slow winter with NO new projects, and that one or both of us finds employment very soon to take that stress off.

I’ve raised a bilingual kid, but like many kids with 2 languages, he chooses to not speak the 2nd and is mostly receptive, but he just came out of the bedroom and started talking about potatoes in buckets that we harvested today and my language teacher’s heart is so happy.

Today I have submitted 3 resumes,livestock chores,taken Little to the library to do school,gone to the pool,harvested 18 lbs of potatoes,16 lbs of tomatoes,2 apple trees, and it’s only 5:30.

That’s what I thought, but Safeway would not do it for under 12
