Selling is not about being pushy. It is about telling a story your audience’s brain is wired to pay attention to- because it solves a problem, takes away pain, or creates a benefit. Selling = helping.

"In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity" -Sun Tzu. Startup chaos = market or operational gaps. Data cuts through chaos. Opportunity is found in analysing data. Solve for the limiting factors as quickly as possible.

Now, in his nineties, he is learning AI, building software, and helping his church serve its community better.

Not despite his age.
Because of his mindset.

The lesson:
Staying relevant is not about knowing every new tool.
It is about staying open to learning and trying.

It is one of the most inspiring examples of a growth mindset I have seen.

John started as an engineer in the 1950s.
When CAD came along, his colleagues resisted.
He learned it.

Decades later, he was still being called back to contribute.

Will you stay relevant as the world changes faster than ever?

At 91, John Blackman taught himself to build an AI-powered app for his church.
He was not a programmer.
He simply stayed curious and solved a real problem.

I watched John’s story on the How I AI channel by @clairevo.
