08.06.2025 22:37 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Raising the $7.25 an hour minimum wage to a living wage is not a radical idea.
Since 2020, voters in Florida, Nebraska, Missouri & Alaska approved a major increase in their minimum wage.
What’s radical is that the federal minimum wage has not gone up since 2009.
Trump's Big Bill:
-Expands his power to ignore court rulings
-Gives the ultra-wealthy an even bigger estate tax break
-Disqualifies nearly 2M children from the child tax credit
-Adds unnecessary red tape that would kick millions of people off Medicaid
It's a big, ugly mess.
Pride started as a riot—and that’s exactly the energy we need to take on Trump’s fascism and the GOP’s bigoted rollback of our rights. Stay loud. Stay proud. Stay relentless. open.substack.com/pub/distills...

We hear the calls to boycott MCP over sponsors complicit in the genocide in Gaza. Pride began as a protest—supporting all marginalized communities means standing against oppression. If you choose to boycott, we support you. We’re choosing to show up and be visibly anti-genocide to demand change

Felony charges have been dropped against U of M students and community members who peacefully protested the university’s ties to Israel’s genocide in Palestine — but misdemeanor charges remain.

Tom Barrett supports the $230 BILLION Trump-Musk SNAP cuts. That will leave thousands of Michigan kids, veterans and seniors without food. This is just more empty words from Tom Barrett.

Sanders: A woman is walking down the street, a car stops, and these guys — in plain clothes and masks — grab her, throw her into the car, and take off. That happened in Vermont today. That’s the kind of thing that happens in dictatorships, not in a democracy.
