There was a time when I was seeing plays in London for £10 a seat. I was seeing people like Jude Law, Judi Dench, David Tennant, Daniel Radcliffe and Catherine Tate in starring roles. This was ten years ago. Post-pandemic prices at one of the theatres I used to visit are now £70 for the worst seats.

If you are watching the Reform Party controlled Councils with their endless mishaps, resignations, fallouts, scandals, mismanagement and sheer comedic idiocy, but still thinking of making these clowns a national government, representing the UK on the global stage, you are literally insane.

I wonder if these people would be arrested for blocking traffic the same way Just Stop Oil were.

Less podcasts, more music

Ah I get it! My first one was Aliens so I tend to rate that No. 1. The basketball scene in Resurrection is still top notch 👌

It's definitely not without its problems and is nowhere near the best Fincher film but I think it has more going for it than people give it credit for.

Woah hey I'm a big Alien fan. I have a soft spot for Alien 3, I loved the idea of them killing the alien with virtually nothing but their surroundings. I could never rate that above Resurrection! It's a shame Neil Blomkamp's film was never made.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
