I wonder how much of it is to do with how the audio is mixed for the various surround options we have now. Where do they put the dialogue in the soundstage and what happens if your player has to downmix it to stereo or whatever. There’s so many stages it can get messed up at.

I run older Macs because they still work perfectly and run the software I need to run without problems. Give them a web page to look at and all of a sudden they’re struggling. When did looking at Google results get so processor intensive?

Been watching people listening to music. Watching the crowd at Glastonbury singing along to Alanis Morissette, and watching people in a pub singing along to my friend’s duo singing timeless songs. Music has the power to transport people, move them, make them happy, help them escape. It’s magic.
