Short thread of some storyboard drawings from Squidina's Holidaze Special I never posted! Getting to draw SpongeBob in his cute little Santa suits has been one of my greatest honors, as a lover of cute Sponges wearing cute little outfits.

This style was most noticeable to me in Pardon My Wand. It's so cool to me how even after so long, SpongeBob is STILL experimenting and having fun with it's visual direction! Even in more subtle ways :)

(The last pic doesn't have that style, I just think it's so pretty)

When designing the look of the trash filled interior of Squidward's house in "Heart of Garbage," I looked back at early paintings of the Barg-N-Mart and suggested we go with the messier linework with swatches of painted color in those backgrounds. The results from Shane and his team were astounding!

Yes I am aware that this is probably the most autistic thing I've ever done but idc SMG4 is a channel that's very special to me and extremely important for developing my current sense of humor
