Every few years I’ll read a Redwall book or two (or 5) when I feel the need for something light. The one I’m reading currently has me all aflutter for big gruff tattooed sea otters. Never mind how tattoos would work with fur. (The badgers also leave me swooning. 😂) Formative furry stuff for sure.

Making a quick trip down to Portland in my old wagon Saturday night through Sunday afternoon included getting photos of my odometer flipping over to 365k miles while doing precisely 65mph. *Totally isn’t easily amused.* Also, older photo, but same car as this post-hike change.

I was shocked when I saw that too, though from what little digging I did, it seemed pretty far from any sort of endorsement. My impression was they were asking people to send love out to wherever they wanted (including to those they disagreed with) and his family was in a list of shoutouts.

I got an IKEA waterproof dog blanket/seat protector in a neat geometric pattern a couple years ago as a changing pad. Pretty cheap, and it felt appropriate as it was made for dogs! Looks like they sell it in green with a solid side and a striped side now. Might find more fun patterns elsewhere?

Lol, reading this earlier today jinxed me. I can’t remember the last time anyone asked my partner and I that, and then we were asked if we were brothers this evening during dinner. We responded no, and left it at that. 😅
