Today marked the ending of a 17 year run at my job, as the business sold and I didn't remain for the new owners.

EDM isn't for everyone, but I spent a good number of years in the rave scene, and the music always stuck with and moved me (literally).

My folks are both wildlife specialists, and so as I was growing up I was always around the bugs, butterflies, snakes, etc.

Same thread, we were taught to treat them all with respect and to be kind.

I was always fascinated with caterpillars and butterflies when I was a kid... So much so that my mom helped me make a set of giant butterfly wings for halloween one year.

I see less and less as the years go by around here. I feel like theys used to be so much more common.

We are certainly an interesting, complicated species. I kind of "mini study" every one I come in contact with at work, as part of my job, and just as a point of interest.
