“damn this is too hard”
“I can’t I can’t I can’t”
And interestingly enough,
“It’s not safe (to think otherwise).”
There’s a strong resistance because your mind views it as a necessity to survive…

It’s funny because I never realized how much I desired the stability of extremes until I met people who motivate me to want to become better and encourage me to become a better person with compassion and understanding that it’s not easy
And as I try to work through my mental fuckery I notice (6/?)

Because extremes are “stable” when you’re fluctuating through intense emotions, they don’t change if you don’t let it. When you’re drowning they’re like a lifeline (deathline is more accurate though) and you want to keep it so you deal with confirmation bias reinforcing these thoughts (5/?)

There’s a sliver of truth, when you try and rationalize, all you can think is how “true” it is without considering that your mind is jumping to extremes and there’s rarely “true” or “false” when it comes to things like “my life sucks”

But, extremes are easy when you’re mentally unstable, (4/?)

Talking to a friend who is similar in this yesterday made me realize how purely irrational our minds become. Your brain tells you shit and because (3/?)
