If you have to do creative work for corporate; don't get precious about what you produce. Don't expect anything beyond the pay they're contractually obliged to give you. What you create for them is theirs to do with as they please.

So don't give them the good sh*t.

Netflix to buy Warner Bros film and streaming businesses for $72bn The major Hollywood deal means Netflix will takeover ownership of franchises including Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.

So, no more DVD/Bluray copies of WB movies from here on, and Netflix prices to go up and/or number of ads to increase.
And you wonder why I've been telling people to grab physical media while they can....

In old scifi movies, computers of the far-flung future only ever seemed capable of running basic programs.
Turns out it was prophetic.
With hardware manufacturers pulling out of the consumer market to sell their wares to AI companies; that's all you're going to be able to afford.
