Those cameras will register surfaces humans have touched in the last 30 minutes, fingertips, footprints, etc

At the point where FLIR cameras are used by pest control folks to find raccoons, possums, and squirrels hiding in vents – and will pick up heat signatures as small as a mouse in the walls - a group of stressed humans hiding in a cupboard or an attic are, to put it bluntly, fucked

Things keeping me awake at night:

In other eras, when violet regimes hunted groups of people deemed undesirable, kindly neighbors might hide them in their homes before ferrying them to safety

With current technology, a drone equipped with an IR camera will locate every body in the home
