look, the point is that if there’s ever a live-action Tangled and they don’t cast Jonathan Bailey as Flynn Rider, they’re DUMBER THAN ROCKS

Severance still makes me scream at the screen. Just caught up on 2x02. I am hardly the only one to espouse this particular theory; I hope this is spoiler-free but also specific enough to bring in other fans so we can yell:

YOU CAN’T FOOL ME, YOU SNEAKY LI’L SNEAKING SNEAKER

SHARE WIDELY.
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

With mass deportations starting today across the country, it is vitally important - for both citizens and non-citizens - to know your rights.

You have the right to remain silent. Assert it. You have the right to a lawyer. Ask for one.

People are trying to think of ways to be cute about this and: do not. Do not call the feds with spurious reports. Do not play word games about extra terrestrials. Simply do not interact and do not answer questions about other people and always, always, demand a judicial warrant

People might bring up Vincent van Gogh as an example of a painter who did great work in spite of, or because of, his suffering. I like to think that van Gogh would have been even more prolific and even greater if he wasn't so restricted by the things tormenting him. I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.

You're telling me

that Margo Martindale

and Wayne Knight

were once partners

on a team of character actors who moonlit as private investigators

to supplement film/tv income by busting bad guys with their acting skills

and this has never been adapted into the longest-running show on NBC?

We must first ask ourselves two simple questions.

One (1): is it a custom in the fire alarm’s country of origin to celebrate a birthday with a lot of loud beeps?

Two (2): is today in fact the fire alarm’s birthday?

Was recently introduced to a band called The Strike that has a sax in their lineup and it feels like a nostalgia punch from 1985 in the best way!

Nah, not really. It’s not my favorite, but the contents don’t change. Don’t judge a book by its cover and all that.

golden dogs, roiling jacuzzis, and conversations so long you forget the hours slipping by are three of the best possible ways to spend a crisp November night
