It always amazes me that so many arm chair critics know what’s happening in these negotiations. Criticizing in social media is always negative making me angry. We have to trust that Democrats are doing what they can to end this shut down because we have a president who doesn’t care about citizens.

The point I was making is some of them are enjoying the gov benefits like SSI, HUD and SNAP and if they can’t see what’s going on are blind. They should be scared to death.

I think you’re over rating the income poor MAGATs. If they aren’t scared of Trump’s policies they’re even crazier than we give them credit for. My housekeeper who was MAGA had a head injury & got about $1,000 a month plus she had two kids so got $400 food stamps. Her rent was $195 in govt housing.

I understand. If they have delivery options often stores offer unlimited deliveries for $9 to $14 a month. Shopping online can also reduce grocery bills as you can limit impulse buys, $5 here and $5 there adds up quick. Check to see if any local grocery chains deliver. Walmart does so does Kroger.

Try to catch sales and buy up bargains. We don’t know how long we can continue on and it’s heartbreaking some families are eating corn flakes, I don’t know the answer. TP Starbucks had sale $7.99 and I bought some. I was surprised it was so good. The aroma filled the kitchen when the bag was open.

I would suggest you shop at a Krogers near you to see if other parts of the country have the same prices. The buying power of nationwide chains is much greater than your independent ones. I don’t know about Safeway as I don’t shop there. Walmart is thriftier too.

City Market was $1.25. I was going to comment today about City Market our Kroger here (or King Soopers) it’s been very stable on prices with even soda having sales. The store was stocked to the rafters with everything including speciality items and prices were not any different than last year.

They are fundamentally different from us. There’s no reasoning with them.

Thank God the court ordered the Administration to pay SNAP benefits. I hope this is not reversed on appeal. So many people depend on them.

Every single doctor I have says take Tylenol instead of nsaids. Tylenol is safe when following dosaging guidelines. I am told repeatedly to take Tylenol as my anti inflammatory. If you think a bible salesman reality actor senile semi illiterate con man knows more than doctors go ahead.

It costs more money to ride a train than fly. It used to cost $50 to ride from Grand Junction to Denver. I just paid $132 and that’s with all my discounts. An excursion across the country is thousands. Europe did it right. You can go anywhere by economical high speed trains.
