so what did i do? i sure as hell did grab the yogurt out of the fridge, smothered my neck in it, and jumped in a shower. joke’s on me, the yogurt was fat free. i felt like i was gonna pass away. also it was daylight saving AND i had to wake up at 5am for work. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
that shit had my on open evidence (medical chat gpt) at 1 in the morning desperately looking for remedies which basically told me you can try yogurt or milk but you’re cooked. it felt like someone was holding a lighter to my neck
i pulled a muscle in my neck and was trying multimodal remedies. that shit lit my whole back on fire. i applied it before bed and woke up at 1am with my neck on fucking FIRE bro

then you get the patient stable-ish with abx (no source control), and they say “patient is stable, no intervention needed”

i’m going to try to start posting more. i’ve been struggling with this job- not the role of being an NP. it’s the lack of organization and consistency at this monstrous hospital, i would have expected so much better
the “i don’t follow politics” thing isn’t cute. people’s lives are getting destroyed, all sense of security getting ripped out from under their feet as a direct result of government policies and legislation. turning a blind eye to that is irresponsible and inhumane. wake UP
