I find his work religious in framing, I don’t know if that was his intention even though there is a variation of this piece that has a black cloaked nun. I thought turning the original piece into a medieval religious one a fitting choice. I’ll probably do another piece inspired by the other image.

working on these piece inspired by a photograph by Rudolph Koppitz, an artiste whose reputation was saved by his death, as there was nothing to consider that he would have supported the Nazi regime, even though his wife decided to photograph into propaganda at the start of the Second World War.
