🤔
Not sure if you got the point of my post. It's a 98 year-old piece of legislation that is signed in law but has never been used. I find that rather incredible. (...but It would be rather useful for many 🤭). But hey-ho, there you go.
🤔
And it's being looked at by various Popes including the current one who "signalled an openness to changing the date of Easter in the west so Christians could celebrate it on the same day around the world...discussions involve, the Coptic pope and the ecumenical patriarch of the Orthodox church"
It's actually legislated for. It's just never been "commenced"
In 1928 UK parliament implemented legislation to fix Easter in April but it's never been used. 1st Sunday after 2nd Saturday. So no earlier than the 9th, & no later than the 14th April. So much easier than the current convoluted method being used. 😲 #easter

Ooh, a U-turn... 'And that is why we believe lifting the two child cap is the right thing to do - not because we support a benefits culture, but because we believe for lower paid workers this actually makes having children just a little bit easier for them' share.google/ZvTbYSKoAMEn...
He's just a nice, genuine, friendly, human being who knows how to interact, talk, and listen to other human beings.
This was almost certainly an e-MOTORbike involved as a pillion was mentioned so why is it always described as an e-bike. It's a bit like saying a 4-wheeler crashed when in fact it's an articulated 12-ton truck www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Measuring from Greenland to Norway is even closer, especially takeing into account that Norway and Denmark were a single Kingdom not that ago.
If you measure the distance from the closest points between the US and Greenland, and Greenland to Denmark they are very similar distances (2100km). The US claim is bogus, they just think it's close to them.

While his music may not be revered by all, his legacy & influence can't be forgotten or ignored.
I miss the excitement of waiting for his new music, although that became less over the years. I now look forward to hearing stories about him that have surfaced, about his life & who he worked with.
I now realise that my own tastes, although not exactly the same as his, and not to everybody else's, are as eclectic as his, no doubt influenced by his different perspectives.
Bowie died 10 years ago on Jan 10. There's a lots of media articles about his life and works. This superb BBC Radio 6 show reflects his tastes in music &, by golly, it's varied. Read the notes to the show as it's almost as if he was actually presenting this show.

Agreed he is platformed too much but I understood her reason to get him on is to properly challenge him which mostly he isn't.
What's the relevance of it being an electric bike? It was two bicycles. This article just stigmatises Legitimate e-bikes yet again.
40 years on finally got to watch Live Aid today on iPlayer - What a great concert.
I remember being at a wedding that day and sneaking out to listen to it on the car radio whenever I had a chance. They all looked soooooo young. 🤭
Currently watching this now in Milton Keynes! Loving it
Much more common than the crown (which was really more of a commemorative coin) was the half a crown, 2s 6d, which was 12.5p.
And don't forget there was also the 10 bob note, (10s), replaced by the 50p coin.
Absolutely as good!
Bridge End Gardens? Perfect heaven.
Nobody gets a bonus this year, or in the other years. Not even the chairman, CEO or CFO. There's not enough profit made to give back PARTNERS (not staff) and still invest into the business so that it can be more profitable in the future.

A cheque though? Why if I still have an account?
