It doesn't help in Episode 2, but the expander is actually a fantastic anti-Sentry weapon, I'm also a fan of using the pistol, it fires fast enough to just keep them stun locked, and I usually have ammo for the pistol. Pistol in general has some great uses because of its accuracy.

It's easy to build static levels using sectors and sprites, it's when you want to do more, like having subway systems, where things get tougher, but there are tutorials, though it could be better. It has so much potential if more people worked on it, the creativity of GZDoom people could do wonders!

I wish it was further along, but it just started getting worked on last month! Soon though...

It adds Unreal (I think GZDoom has something like this) style 3D sector selection, newer versions of this Mod add a ton MORE feature I'm planning on testing soon
Funny you should say that, as there is a bunch of movement behind the scenes recently (some official, some fan mods) that aims to do just that! While also unlocking a lot of engine features to allow even more, advanced, freedom. I'm a tad biased as someone who is learning Build first

I've been actively playing more AA games or games from past-Gens I missed and I'm genuinely thinking this is the way to go moving forward. AAA isn't dead, but the increased pricing and push for graphical fidelity over something more, a spark of life if you will, just killed it.
