With the 2nd card, it's simple. Financial struggles and well, that's going to be everyone so I felt it didn't require much more thought than that. Perhaps this is the reason she's looking for a new vocation.

The 2nd card, another reversal, Queen of Wands. She's an entertaining woman, life of the party, but on the flip side. She's petty, flaky, the sort of friend who breaks promises. Which ties in with the 1st card. Those plans being made might be cancelled last minute.

Starting with the first card, 8 of cups, this card represents opportunities, ideas, and, daydreams as we see the cups are shrouded in the clouds. Reversed this card means the same thing however the emotions are deeper. Big feels. So it feels that there may be more at stake.

There's a tarot card with Lana as the High Priestess and I never wanted anything more in my life.

Also I gotta say, she's very Lana coded for me. Which is another reason why she might be my personal favorite. I mean, her look in Born To Die just screams High Priestess to me. #LDR #Lana

The fruits behind her are pomegranates which can be tied to so many different mythologies from Persephone to the Egyptian god, Hathor. It can also be linked to female fertility.

The pillars between her represent duality but especially between the darkness and the light. The pillars form a portal to the otherworld and deeper sense of self, which is also illustrated by the moon at her feet.

Today's card to mediate on The High Priestess! My personal favorite. 💙She represents divine femineity, spirituality, and, the subconscious mind. The colors she wears is blue and white - blue for truth and clarity, white for innocence and purity. Very demure. #tarot #tarotcards #highpriestess

Also might I add in a simple 3 card reading this card tells me not to take that day's reading too seriously. Sometimes it's best to not to think too much about the meanings and interpretations.

Funny thing that happened recently, I volunteered to give my roommate a reading before his flight to California. He said, "As long as you don't draw ten of swords, we're good." Immediately, the first card that was drawn was ten of swords. 😅 I reassured him that he shouldn't worry about his flight.

A card that traditionally means betrayal, as the swords are in the man's back, but I take this card as a reminder to not let your thoughts get the better of you. Look at the amount of swords, it's overkill. If you have experienced pain, it's over. If pain isn't permanent than either is pleasure.

The card I would like to meditate on today is the dreaded Ten of Swords.
